What's Inside the Radiance Vault?

The Radiance Vault includes:

  • 6 × Riftbound: Radiance Booster Packs
  • 36 × Runes
  • Foil Tokens
  • 1 × Reusable Card Storage Box

The Vault is designed to combine booster opening with useful deck-building resources and storage rather than functioning as a standard Booster Box. Riftbound

6 Radiance Booster Packs

Every Radiance Vault contains six Booster Packs from Set 5.

Each Radiance Booster Pack contains 14 cards, giving you:

6 Packs × 14 Cards = 84 cards across the included boosters.

The six packs provide opportunities to discover cards from the 180-card Radiance set, including new Legends, Units, Spells, Gear and premium collectible treatments.

Radiance Booster Pack Configuration

The official Radiance Booster Pack rarity distribution is:

  • 7 Commons
  • 3 Uncommons
  • 1 Foil slot containing a Common, Uncommon, Rare or Epic
  • 1 Rare or Epic
  • 1 slot containing a Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt, Overnumber or Ultimate Rare
  • 1 Token, Rune or Alt Art Rune
  • 1 Informational Insert

This gives every booster several opportunities to discover higher-rarity and premium cards. Riftbound

Specific cards and premium rarities are randomly inserted. Showcase, Overnumber and Ultimate Rare cards are not guaranteed within an individual Vault.

36 Runes Included

Alongside the Booster Packs, the Radiance Vault contains a set of:

36 Runes

Runes form the resource system at the heart of Riftbound deck construction, making the included Rune set particularly useful for players building additional decks.

Instead of having to source the basic resources separately, the Vault gives you a substantial Rune collection alongside your Radiance Booster Packs.

This makes the product particularly useful for players who are moving beyond their first Riftbound deck and want to begin experimenting with additional Legends and strategies.

Foil Tokens

The Radiance Vault also includes foil tokens.

Tokens are regularly created by cards during Riftbound gameplay, representing temporary Units and other game elements generated by card effects.

Radiance itself introduces new token interactions, including Bombs, which can be left for opponents and create increasingly explosive effects as more Bombs enter play. Riftbound

The foil treatment gives the Vault's included tokens a premium appearance when used during games.

Reusable Card Storage Box

The Vault isn't simply packaging that needs to be discarded once the product is opened.

The product comes in a reusable card storage box designed to become part of your Riftbound collection.

As your collection expands across Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed, Vendetta and Radiance, dedicated card storage becomes increasingly useful.

The Vault gives players somewhere to organise:

  • Radiance cards
  • Spare Runes
  • Tokens
  • Deck-building cards
  • Duplicate cards
  • Previous-set cards
  • Future deck upgrades

This makes the Vault particularly practical for players whose Riftbound collection is beginning to outgrow individual deck boxes.

The Vault Returns

The Vault product format was originally introduced with Riftbound Set 3: Unleashed.

Riot designed the Vault as a reusable storage product containing booster packs and useful gameplay accessories.

For Unleashed, the original Vault included six Booster Packs, 36 Basic Runes, three double-sided full-art tokens and dividers. Riot also confirmed at the time that the Vault wouldn't be exclusive to Unleashed and would return with future sets. Riftbound

Radiance fulfils that promise with a new Set 5 edition.

Radiance – Set 5

Radiance is the fifth major Riftbound expansion.

It follows:

  • Origins
  • Spiritforged
  • Unleashed
  • Vendetta
  • Radiance

Set 5 contains 180 cards and 66 Showcase cards and introduces nine new Legends to the game. Riftbound

Rather than focusing entirely on one location within Runeterra, Radiance is built around performance.

Its central theme is:

Own the Stage. The World is Watching.

The set explores what happens when champions perform at the absolute peak of their abilities with everything on the line.

Nine New Legends

Radiance introduces nine new Legends into Riftbound.

Confirmed Legends include:

  • Seraphine
  • Ziggs
  • Jarvan IV
  • Ekko
  • Evelynn
  • Four additional Legends

Each new Legend provides another character and strategy around which players can construct their decks. Riftbound

Seraphine

Seraphine is one of the defining champions of Radiance.

The Starry-Eyed Songstress is a natural fit for a set centred around performance, music and stepping onto the biggest stage.

Her colourful identity helps establish the visual direction of Radiance and makes her one of the expansion's headline characters.

For League of Legends players who have been waiting to build around Seraphine in Riftbound, Radiance provides that opportunity.

Ekko

Ekko shares centre stage with Seraphine on the Radiance Booster Display artwork.

The Boy Who Shattered Time brings his distinctive Zaun identity to Set 5 and provides another highly recognisable League champion for collectors and deck builders.

Radiance gives Ekko fans the opportunity to search for his new cards alongside the premium treatments available throughout the set.

Evelynn

Evelynn provides the darker side of Radiance's performance theme.

Her seductive and dangerous personality contrasts dramatically with Seraphine, a rivalry that forms the basis of the Radiance Seraphine vs. Evelynn Showdown Deck.

The combination of these contrasting champions demonstrates the different interpretations of performance explored throughout Set 5.

Ziggs

Ziggs brings a much more explosive performance to Radiance.

The chaotic Yordle connects particularly well with the expansion's new Bomb tokens.

Bombs can be left for an opponent, with increasingly dramatic results as additional Bombs are created and destroyed. Riftbound

Jarvan IV

Jarvan IV brings Demacia into the Radiance Legend lineup.

His strategy has connections with Gear and the expansion's new Deploy mechanic, creating new opportunities for players interested in controlling Battlefields through Equipment and other permanent resources.

Three New Mechanics

Radiance introduces three major new mechanics:

  • Deploy
  • Show Off
  • Disarm

Each adds another layer of decision-making to Riftbound. Riftbound

Deploy

Deploy allows certain Gear cards to be played directly to a Battlefield.

While that Gear remains deployed, it can provide benefits at the Battlefield.

But there's a risk.

When an opponent holds that Battlefield, the deployed Gear is killed.

This makes Deploy a strategic commitment: powerful Gear can help you fight for an important Battlefield, but losing control can cost you the card.

Show Off

Show Off captures the performance theme of Radiance directly.

The mechanic allows you to reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock an additional effect from another card.

It creates an interesting balance between gaining an immediate advantage and revealing information about your available resources.

Disarm

Disarm introduces another approach to combat.

When attacking, Disarm reduces the Might of an enemy Unit.

Multiple instances of Disarm can increase that reduction, allowing players to weaken opposing Units during important battles.

Rather than simply making your own Units stronger, Disarm allows you to bring your opponent's Units down to size.

New Equipment Interactions

Radiance also expands the role of Equipment within Riftbound.

Equipment can now become Units through new card interactions, including effects associated with Orianna.

When Equipment becomes a Unit, it automatically becomes unequipped, preventing Equipment Units from simply stacking on top of one another. Riftbound

These interactions provide another direction for Gear and Equipment-focused deck building.

180-Card Main Set

Radiance contains:

180 cards

The expansion adds new:

  • Legends
  • Champions
  • Units
  • Spells
  • Gear
  • Battlefields
  • Runes
  • Tokens
  • Mechanics

These cards can be combined with previous Riftbound expansions, allowing Radiance to strengthen existing strategies as well as create entirely new ones.

66 Showcase Cards

Beyond its standard 180-card set, Radiance contains:

66 Showcase cards

These premium versions provide another collecting challenge for players who want special treatments of their favourite cards and League of Legends champions. Riftbound

With 66 Showcase cards, Radiance has a substantial premium card pool for collectors to explore.

Alternate-Art Runes

Radiance also introduces musically inspired alternate-art Runes.

Because Runes are fundamental resources used throughout Riftbound decks, alternate versions allow players to customise more than just their Champions and Units.

The alternate-art Rune slot also forms part of the possible Radiance Booster Pack configuration. Riftbound

The Second Ultimate Rare

Radiance introduces Riftbound's second Ultimate Rare.

Riot has also confirmed that this Ultimate Rare is intended to be significantly harder to find than the Ultimate Rare introduced in Unleashed.

Across the complete Radiance print run, Riot states that an Ultimate Rare appears in approximately 0.025% of Booster Packs on average. There is no guaranteed Ultimate Rare within any pack, Booster Box or case. Riftbound

Naturally, an Ultimate Rare is therefore not guaranteed within the six packs included in a Radiance Vault.

More Than Just Booster Packs

The appeal of the Vault is that it combines several different Riftbound products into one package.

You're getting:

Booster Packs for expanding your collection.

Runes for building decks.

Foil Tokens for gameplay.

And a reusable storage box for keeping the collection organised.

This makes the Vault particularly suitable for players who want more than simply opening boosters.

Great for Newer Riftbound Players

The Radiance Vault can be especially useful for newer players who already have a deck but want to begin expanding their collection.

The 36 included Runes provide useful resources for constructing additional decks, while six Radiance Booster Packs introduce cards from Set 5.

The reusable storage box then gives those cards somewhere to go as the collection grows.

Useful for Established Players

Experienced Riftbound players can also use the Vault to expand their collection while gaining additional Runes, tokens and storage.

The six Radiance Booster Packs provide opportunities to discover cards for competitive and casual deck building, while the Vault itself can be used to organise cards from multiple expansions.

Designed for Players and Collectors

The Radiance Vault sits between a traditional booster product and a gameplay accessory bundle.

For players, it provides Runes, tokens and storage.

For collectors, it provides six sealed Radiance Booster Packs and opportunities to discover premium cards.

For League of Legends fans, it provides another dedicated Set 5 product featuring the visual identity of Radiance.

The 36 Runes help support additional deck building.

The foil tokens provide premium gameplay pieces.

The reusable storage box gives your growing Riftbound collection a dedicated home.

And the six Radiance Booster Packs provide 84 cards across the included packs, with opportunities to discover cards from the 180-card set and its extensive premium lineup.
