Radiance – Set 5

Radiance is officially the fifth set of Riftbound: League of Legends TCG.

It follows:

  • Origins
  • Spiritforged
  • Unleashed
  • Vendetta
  • Radiance

As the final main set of 2026, Radiance serves as the capstone to Riftbound's first full year of releases.

The set is designed around performing under pressure—making the perfect play while all eyes are on you.

Its official theme says it best:

Own the Stage. The World is Watching.

Radiance captures the feeling of performing at the highest level, whether that's on a literal stage or during the decisive moments of a Riftbound match. Riftbound

180-Card Set

Radiance contains a main card pool of:

180 cards

These include new:

  • Legends
  • Champions
  • Units
  • Spells
  • Gear
  • Battlefields
  • Runes
  • Tokens
  • New mechanics

For players, this provides an entirely new pool of cards for deck building.

For collectors, the 180-card set is only the beginning, with Showcase and other premium treatments expanding the Radiance collection considerably beyond its standard cards. Riot Games Store

66 Showcase Cards

Radiance has a particularly large premium collecting component.

The set contains:

66 Showcase cards

These premium versions give collectors alternate presentations of cards and characters from throughout Radiance.

With League of Legends featuring an enormous cast of champions with distinctive visual identities, Showcase cards have become one of the defining collectible elements of Riftbound.

Radiance dramatically expands that part of the game with more than 60 Showcase cards to discover. Riftbound

New Legends Take the Stage

Radiance introduces nine new Legends to Riftbound.

Confirmed new Legends include:

  • Seraphine
  • Ekko
  • Evelynn
  • Ziggs
  • Jarvan IV

Alongside four additional Legends completing the nine-Legend lineup.

These champions introduce new deck-building possibilities while bringing some of League of Legends' most recognisable personalities into Riftbound as build-around Legends. Riftbound

Seraphine

Seraphine is one of the headline champions of Radiance.

Few League champions fit the set's performance theme as naturally as the Starry-Eyed Songstress.

Her connection to music, performance and massive audiences places her directly at the centre of Radiance's "Own the Stage" identity.

Seraphine also shares centre stage on the Radiance Booster Display artwork alongside Ekko, making her one of the defining characters of Set 5. Riftbound

Ekko

Ekko joins Seraphine as another headline champion featured prominently on the Radiance Booster Box.

The Boy Who Shattered Time brings his distinctive Zaun identity and time-manipulating style into Riftbound.

For League of Legends players and collectors who have followed Ekko across League, Arcane and the wider Runeterra universe, Radiance provides another major Riftbound appearance for the champion.

Evelynn

Evelynn also steps into the spotlight in Radiance.

Her darker, seductive personality provides a deliberate contrast to Seraphine's colourful and energetic presentation.

That contrast is taken even further in the Radiance Showdown Deck product, where Seraphine and Evelynn face one another directly.

For collectors following League's darker champions, Evelynn is one of the major new additions to the fifth Riftbound set. Riftbound

Ziggs

The explosive Yordle Ziggs joins the Radiance Legend lineup.

Ziggs is also featured on the Booster Display artwork, appearing alongside Seraphine, Ekko and Jarvan IV.

His chaotic, explosive personality brings a very different kind of performance to Radiance and expands the selection of League champions represented as Legends within Riftbound.

Jarvan IV

Demacia's Jarvan IV becomes another new Legend in Radiance.

Jarvan introduces Gear-focused interactions that connect directly with one of the expansion's major new mechanics: Deploy.

His appearance expands Riftbound's Demacian strategies while giving players another iconic League champion to construct decks around.

Three Major New Mechanics

Radiance introduces three important new mechanics:

  • Deploy
  • Show Off
  • Disarm

Each mechanic reinforces the expansion's emphasis on performance, battlefield positioning and making impactful plays at the right moment. Riftbound

Deploy

Deploy introduces a new way for Gear cards to interact with Battlefields.

Gear with Deploy is played directly to a Battlefield and provides benefits while positioned there.

However, there's a risk.

If an opponent takes control of that Battlefield, the deployed Gear is killed.

This creates an interesting strategic decision.

A powerful piece of Gear can help you secure or exploit a Battlefield, but committing it to that location also means putting the card at risk.

Deploy makes Battlefield control even more important and creates additional decisions around where and when you commit resources. Riftbound

Show Off

Radiance is about performing with everything on the line, and Show Off turns that idea into a gameplay mechanic.

Show Off allows you to reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock an additional effect.

The mechanic rewards players for constructing their deck around cards that can satisfy specific Show Off requirements.

It also introduces another layer of information into a match.

Revealing a card may provide an immediate benefit, but you're also showing your opponent information about your resources.

Knowing when to Show Off becomes part of the strategy. Riftbound

Disarm

Disarm provides a new combat-focused mechanic.

When attacking, Disarm reduces the Might of an enemy Unit.

Multiple instances of Disarm can increase the amount of Might removed, allowing players to weaken opposing Units during important battles.

The mechanic has similarities to Assault but approaches combat from the opposite direction—instead of simply increasing your own power, you're reducing the strength of your opponent. Riftbound

Equipment Units

Radiance also expands the relationship between Equipment and Units.

Gear Units were introduced previously, but Radiance pushes the concept further.

Through cards such as Orianna, Equipment can become Units.

When Equipment becomes a Unit, it automatically becomes unequipped, preventing players from simply stacking equipped Units on top of one another.

This creates unusual new interactions and opens another direction for Gear-focused Riftbound decks. Riftbound

Alternate-Art Runes

Radiance introduces new alternate-art Runes inspired by the expansion's musical and performance themes.

Runes are a fundamental resource within Riftbound, so giving them alternate artwork allows players to customise even the resource portion of their decks.

For collectors and players who enjoy fully themed decks, these alternate-art Runes provide another category to pursue within Radiance. Riftbound

A New Ultimate Rare

Radiance introduces the second Ultimate Rare in Riftbound.

Ultimate Rare represents one of the highest-end collectible treatments within the game and provides an exceptionally difficult chase for collectors opening Radiance.

Riot has confirmed that Radiance contains a new Ultimate Rare as part of the expansion.

An Ultimate Rare is not guaranteed within an individual booster pack, Booster Box or case. Riftbound

Premium Booster Configuration

Each Radiance Booster Pack contains a premium 14-card configuration.

The official product breakdown is:

  • 7 Common cards
  • 3 Uncommon cards
  • 2 foil Rare or better cards
  • 1 additional foil card of any rarity
  • 1 token slot

This means every Radiance Booster Pack contains multiple foil cards and multiple opportunities for higher-rarity cards. Riot Games Store

Two Foil Rares or Better Per Pack

Every Radiance Booster Pack contains:

2 foil Rare or better cards

These slots provide opportunities to discover higher-rarity cards while ensuring every booster delivers a premium opening experience.

Across 24 Booster Packs, a complete display contains a substantial number of foil Rare-or-better slots.

Specific rarity distributions across an entire box are not guaranteed.

Additional Foil in Every Pack

Alongside the Rare-or-better foil cards, each pack contains:

1 additional foil card of any rarity

This gives every Radiance booster multiple foil cards and makes the set particularly appealing for players who enjoy building visually premium Riftbound decks.

Riftbound Is Built for Multiple Formats

Riftbound has been designed to support several ways to play.

Players can battle in:

  • 1v1
  • 2v2
  • Multiplayer free-for-all

That flexibility separates Riftbound from trading card games built primarily around traditional one-on-one matches.

Radiance expands the available card pool further, providing new Legends, mechanics and deck-building possibilities across these different formats. Riot Games Store

Build New Radiance Decks

With 24 packs and 336 cards across a sealed display, a Radiance Booster Box provides a substantial foundation for deck building.

Players can use cards from Radiance to:

  • Build around new Legends
  • Upgrade existing decks
  • Experiment with Deploy
  • Build Show Off synergies
  • Incorporate Disarm strategies
  • Explore Gear interactions
  • Add new Units and Spells
  • Customise decks with alternate-art Runes
  • Search for premium versions of favourite cards

Radiance is designed to expand Riftbound rather than exist separately from earlier sets.

Part of the League of Legends Universe

Riftbound transforms the champions, locations and lore of League of Legends into a physical trading card game.

Radiance continues that expansion by bringing additional champions from Runeterra into the game while exploring the musical and performance side of the League universe.

For League of Legends fans who also enjoy physical card collecting, the set provides another way to collect favourite champions outside the digital game.

From Origins to Radiance

Radiance represents an important milestone for Riftbound.

The game's 2026 journey spans several major releases, culminating with Set 5.

Each expansion has added new Legends, strategies and mechanics, gradually increasing the number of ways players can construct their decks.

Radiance closes out the year by placing some of League's biggest personalities under the brightest lights.

Why Collect Riftbound: Radiance?

Radiance is the fifth Riftbound expansion and the final major set of 2026, making it an important addition to the game's rapidly growing card pool.

Champions such as Seraphine, Ekko, Evelynn, Ziggs and Jarvan IV lead the new Legend lineup, while Deploy, Show Off and Disarm introduce completely new gameplay decisions.

Collectors have plenty to pursue as well. The 180-card set expands to include 66 Showcase cards, alternate-art Runes and a brand-new Ultimate Rare.
